JULY 2023
“July was a Blur!”
CHURCH UPDATES
On the Church front, July was a quiet but steady month. At Liberti NE, Evan was still away on sabbatical, so I continued to lead in his absence. This month we started a sermon series in the book of Amos and it has been nice to preach week after week. Continuing with the quiet theme, we held a few simple events like outdoor bingo and it was nice to just sit and enjoy good company for a moment.
For Liberti Bristol, our home meeting has proceeded through the summer and continued to have visitors! I am eager to see what our ranks will look like come Fall when everyone’s schedules settle back into their more regular rhythms. In Bristol, we continue to work alongside the Ministerium, building tighter relationships with the existing churches. The fruits of that have been remarkably evident as yet another local church invited us to consider occupying their space and another still began a discussion on just how closely we could work together once our church officially launches.
With so many unknowns, moments likes these make one thing clear: we are exactly where God wants us to be.
PERSONAL UPDATES
July was a blur! It came and went so fast and along with it came a healthy balance of ups and downs. Our home meeting took us on a well needed “family vacation” to the Poconos on the 4th of July weekend and it was great to get away and to have all the extra hands taking Brynn off of ours. We couldn’t feel more grateful for the community that God has placed around us or for the people who comprise it.
At home we are still working hard to figure out what is causing Brynn’s reactions. To be honest, it has been discouraging. It is hard seeing your kid in pain or discomfort. For any parents out there, I am sure you can relate. With that said, it is nice to see Brynn’s personality begin to peak through and to see her smile and grin in her happy moments.
Thanks to all of you who have been praying for us, sending words of encouragement, and all around just being in our corner. We appreciate you all!

Partner With Us
Liberti is a church in the heart of Bristol with a heart for Bristol — who seeks to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Jesus to our neighbors there.
PRAYER
Would you commit to including Liberti Bristol in your prayers? Would you pray for softened hearts? Would you pray that God would open doors and opportunities for us to be ambassadors for His kingdom? That we would have eyes to see opportunity and the willingness to pursue it — even when it’s difficult?
THIS MONTH
Be in prayer that we would be able to lock in a space and that more visitors would join us.
Be in prayer that supporters like you would partner with us to support what God is doing here.
Be in prayer for Laura and myself, and for Brynn — that we would be able to find her the help she so desperately needs.
PRESENCE
We desperately need your prayers, but we also need your presence! Liberti Bristol needs mission-minded people like you; willing to do the work and take the risks to participate with God in the expansion of His kingdom! If you'd like to consider joining our launch team, then I invite you to stop by our house on a Wednesday night. Every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30PM, our team comes together as a family — adults and children — for a time of fellowship and prayer. Come meet us and see if this is where you belong!
PROVISION
And finally, provision. Listen, we believe that God will provide for that which He has ordained. Liberti Bristol isn't a project of our own, but rather it's our effort to be obedient to God's call on our lives and to be his ambassadors and priests, declaring the good news of God's Kingdom; inviting others to repentance and to come and see that He is good. And so, we believe that God will provide for us. But we believe He'll do it through people like you! Would you consider being a part of God's provision to us? Be it a monthly, annual or even a one-time donation? We need your help to make Liberti Bristol the church that this neighborhood needs it to be!
